EF Language Institution Agreement

King Khalid University, represented by the agency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, recently signed a  contract with the educational company “EF” to implement the English language localization program for university scholarship students. The signing of the contract was in the presence of the university vice president of postgraduate studies and scientific research Dr. Hamed bin Majdoua Al-Qarni and a  number of representatives from  relevant authorities.

 

Through this agreement the university seeks to align its strategy with the Human Resources Capacity Development Program and the general direction of the Ministry of Education in localizing the English language program for scholarship students by establishing qualitative partnerships with international academic expertise. 

 

The University Vice President  of  Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Hamid Al-Qarni, confirmed that the university’s English language localization program is a result of   His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami wishes to develop the university faculty language skills. He added that  the program  will contribute to raising the level of language proficiency among teaching assistants and lecturers before the start of their scholarship programs.

 

On his part, the General Supervisor of the Scholarships Department, Dr. Muhammad Al-Shagaibi, explained that the University’s English Language Localization Program will contribute to reducing the university’s expenses and prepare student for postgraduate studies abroad. He added   that the Scholarships Department is looking forward to implementing  serves to develop and improve services for students in line with the developmental and strategic goals of  the scholarship programs.

 

In the context of developing human resources, the English language localization program at the university provides a number of services, most notably developing  language skills  of teaching assistants and lecturers and developing their skills in the field of English language.

 

It is worth noting, that  the signing of the  contract will also enable the university to enhance opportunities for global research partnerships with the educational company partners from leading international universities around the world.
