At the closing of King Khalid University's cinematic activities, the Media and Communication Department displayed the first place film 'Accordion'. 'Accordion' was a course project by students Nouf Al Shehri, Rahaf Mubarak, and Nora Al-Ahmari under the supervision of Dr. Maryam Al-Ajmie. The film reviewed the changes in Abha from years 1996 to 2017.
The film 'Betra' took second place under the directorship of student Ghayda Al-Hazmi. It was a graduation project that discussed the generational fabric pattern art that characterizes women's clothes in the Asir region.
The film 'Victims of Thought' took third place under the directorship of student Razan Al-Hamad. It discussed the sad reality of youth unknowingly following false or misleading thoughts and ideologies.
At the end of the event, the Media Club honored the film director Areej Al-Hamd for her work on the film 'Momentum of Senses'. Her initiative within the Department of Media and Communication were noted and appreciated.
