His Excellency King Khalid University Rector Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy sponsored the signing of a cooperation agreement between the University which was represented by the Quality and Development Agency, the Creativity and Talent Center, and the National Agency for Tourism.
The Vice Rector for Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, took the honor of signing the agreement. Numerous senior leadership figures and stakeholders witnessed the signing. They included National Tourism Company CEO, Saleh Qadah, Postgraduate and Scientific Research Vice Rector, Dr. Saad Al-Omari, Dean of the Research and Consultation Institution Center, Dr. Abdulateef-Al Hadithi, and Creativity and Talent Center Manager, Dr. Mohammad Khmash Al-Moghrabi.
In his speech, Dean Al-Hadithi explained that the spirit of the agreement is based on providing support to talented students and entrepreneurs by highlighting their projects, supporting them, and marketing them for production. He also pointed out that the agreement will extend to a duration of one year that will act as a pilot period and will later be evaluated by a team that will follow its development and progress.
Dean Al-Hadithi added that the terms of the agreement were formulated in cooperation with the National Tourism Company to coordinate, support, and market the facilities, properties, and sites of the company during the summer period.
