His Royal Highness, Deputy Governor, Prince Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz received His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solamy. The Rector was accompanied by the Director of Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Center for Environmental Studies, Dr. Hussien Al-Wad’i and the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Abdullah Al Kasi, in addition the Dean of the Research and Consulting Studies Institute, Dr. Abdllatif Al-Hedithi and the Vice Chairman of the Intellectual Unit of the University who is also the Chairman of the Our Homeland program, Dr. Mesfer Al-Wad’i.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Royal Highness, Prince Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz reviewed an in-depth environmental report submitted by Dr. Hussein Al-Wad’i. The report contained a number of environmental and research studies for the Asir region. His Royal Highness also reviewed a report on the International Conference: Teacher and the Era of Knowledge, submitted by Dr. Abdullah Al Kasi. Furthermore, the Prince received another detailed report presented by the Research and Consulting Studies Institute through Dr. Abdllatif Al-Hedithi. There was also a visual presentation offered by Dr. Mesfer Al-Wad’i on the “Our Homeland” program.
At the end of the meeting, His Royal Highness, Deputy Governor, Prince Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz offered his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency, the Rector of King Khalid University for all of the diligent and noteworthy efforts exerted by the University. HRH Prince Mansour also thanked the Rector for the research and studies done by the University allowing the wheel of development to push forward. HRH Prince Mansour also gave a vote of confidence in the University for the efforts in working towards instilling virtuous principles in all segments of the society while increasing intellectual and societal awareness.
