A scholar from the Faculty of Nursing at King Khalid University, Reem Hamidi Hussein Al-Alawi, has been awarded 2017's "Golden Key International Honor," in recognition of her academic excellence during her undergraduate studies at Indiana University in Pennsylvania, USA.
Lecturer Reem Hamidi explained that in the beginning, she faced difficulties when she left home and stayed away from her parents. Despite all of these challenges, she put forth her best effort to achieve academic excellence in the nursing administration field. She said, "Praise be to God who helps me. I was nominated for membership based on excellent academic accomplishments in my area of specialization." She added that the Golden Key International Honor Society offers its members opportunities and exclusive links through more than half a million dollars in scholarships, awards, partnerships with major companies, career advancement, and graduate programs.
She explained that the Golden Key International Honor Society also works with faculty members and university administrators to develop and maintain one of the highest standards of education in the world.

It is worth mentioning that the Golden Key International Honor Society is one of the most prestigious academic societies in the United States of America. It aims to honor academically outstanding students. The Society nominates highly qualified students in both the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Nomination depends on GPA and other scientific achievements such as research and extracurricular activities. It is worth mentioning that the Golden Key International Honor Society grants a lifetime membership to its members.
