A Saudi PhD scholar from King Khalid University (KKU), Bandar bin Abdullah Al Shehri, has obtained a Medal and a membership of the World Golden Key of Academic Excellence from the Public University of Wayne state, Michigan. Al Shehri deserved the award for his outstanding scientific and academic excellence in the University mentioned above during 2016.
This award is an international honor that is given to outstanding students for scientific and academic achievement at the level of worldwide universities. Al Shehri obtained this award after filtration, and according to the standards of academic achievement determined by the organization. Moreover, the achieved membership by Al Shehri, is granted annually by the International Honorary Association for the Golden Key for no more than 1% of all university students.
Al Shehri is among the 15 students who have won this award this year, part of more than 27,000 thousand students studying in that university. A few months earlier, Al Shehri had been enrolled in the list of the accredited Apple technology industry professors after passing 16 different levels of basic skills imposed by the company on those who are interested in using electronic devices in education. For that, Al Shehri is considered the first Saudi Arabian scholar to obtain this membership, if not the first in the level of the Arab world. It is worth mentioning that this membership is not supported currently outside the United States and in the Middle East specifically.
