The Rector of King Khalid University KKU, Prof. Dr. Falah bin Raja Allah Al Solamy, has set one hour daily, to receive visitors; students and parents, as well as the university employees. The time set to receive the visitors is from 9 am to 10 am. The venue is in his office. Moreover, the services of electronic communications have been activated which will be available around the clock via the text messaging service on this mobile number - 0555832030 - in addition to e-mail service, on ..(mubasher@kku.edu.sa).
The official speaker of KKU, Dr. Mohammed bin Hamed Al Beheiri, has clarified that the Rector of KKU - Prof. Dr. Falah bin Raja Allah Al Solamy - has given an urgent directive to the deans and vice deans, and to the chairmen in colleges, as well as to all university high and affiliated sections, to set at least two hours of each working day. This is in order to enable the students and their parents, as well as reviewers, to meet with them. The Rector also urged all university employees to try to meet the needs of all reviewers according to the powers granted to them, and within the regulations of the university.
Dr. Al Beheiri added, “These electronic and live services provided by the university will enable the beneficiaries to ask, to inquire and to state their demands, complaints, suggestions, notes and opinions, and to take consultations through various channels. These services will also enable the beneficiaries to meet the university president who personally follows all transactions and directs them to the various competent university authorities, which ensure that they arrive in the fastest time through an effective electronic system. This system follows the responses of the university deanships and administrations on these transactions, as well as ensuring giving the appropriate solutions for all reviewers."
It is worth mentioning that the services are working on an effective system which gives the beneficiaries the transaction number, the date and the section referred to through mobile text messages (sms). It aims to enable everyone to follow his or her transactions and to find out what procedures are taken.
