On behalf of His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al Dawood, the University Vice - President for Health Specialties, Prof. Dr. Khaled Saad Al Jelban, has witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement and a partnership between the King Khalid University (KKU) represented by the College of Pharmacy, and Nahdi Medical Company.
On the occasion of the signing of the partnership, His Excellency the Vice - President for Health Specialties, Prof. Dr. Khalid Al Jelban, clarified that the linking between the academic entity and the labor market was essential in the student's life. "We are very optimistic about this partnership," he said.
In the signing process, the University was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Saleh Al Sayari, while Nahdi Medical Company. was represented by the regional director of the company in Southern Region, Dr. Ibrahim Amer Badawi. The occasion of the signing was attended by the Dean of Research and Advisory Studies Institute, Dr. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hedathi, as well as the Deputy Dean of Faculty of pharmacy, Dr. Taha bin Yahya Al-Qahtani.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Saleh Al Sayari, stated that that agreement was due to the belief of the College on the importance of proper training for college graduates, as Nahdi Medical Company is one of the pioneering companies in the field of medical services; as it owns a large chain of branches all over the Kingdom.
For his part, the Dean of Research and Advisory Studies Institute, Dr. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hedathi, has used the occasion to stress that the university had always sought to hold partnerships as part of its societal responsibilities, as well as its commitment to partnerships that provide various services to the university and its students.
In turn, the regional director of Nahdi Company, Dr. Ibrahim Badawi, confirmed that the company was keen on holding such partnerships as the King Khalid University is one of the most important Saudi universities, as well as because of their commitment to the development of pharmacy students, who will represent the main pillar of the Nahdi Company in the future. He said, "We are a Saudi company and we want to serve our children and our brothers and sisters of the students of pharmacy colleges."
It is worth mentioning that the agreement includes several aspects, such as training students, and providing scientific support and training for the pharmacists of Nahdi Company, in addition tor attracting graduates from the Faculty of Pharmacy, scientific research, and community services.
