His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, has signed a number of special contracts. The contracts are related to the university and its colleges in Abha and a number of colleges within Asir Province. In value, the contracts are worth 14.719.098 million Saudi riyals.
The contracts included a contract to run the preparatory year, a contracts for the supply and installation of important materials at the University Center for female students in Alsamer, and at the Graduate studies Center in Lassan, in addition to contracts for the supply and installation of such items at the labs of Home Economics College in Tehama. There are also other contracts for the supply and installation of educational items at the Community College for Girls in Khamis Mushayt, in addition to signing a contract for public works, improvement and development of the Academic compound in Mahyal. Another contract was signed for the supply and installation of medical equipment for outpatient Medical clinics in the city. Contracts also included those for processing computer labs at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for Boys in Mahyal Asir, in addition to another contract for the supply and installation of air conditioning appliances in the faculties of science and Arts and Community College for girls in Rejal Almae.
