The staff of the University condemn the bombing of Emergency Forces' mosque in Aseer

    kkukkukku

A considerable number of King Khalid University employees and affiliates have welcomed and appreciated the visit paid by the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz - may God save him - to Aseer region. The visit was to offer condolences and to symphasize with the families of martyrs who were brutally killed while on duty as a result of the recent terrorist bombing, which caused the death of a number of the staff of the Special Emergency Forces in Aseer. The employees and affiliates of King Khalid University condemned such wanton acts, saying that it would not affect the nation and the citizen's cohesion, instead such acts would increase the nationals' strength and challenge against terrorism.

For his part, the Dean of the School of Medicine and the Cardiologist and Cardiac Catheterization Diseases Consultant, Prof. Abdullah Saeed Asiri stressed that the ugly terroristic act strengthens the nationals' unity, stiffness and cohesion in confronting deviant groups. He said, "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will remain a symbol of moderation and centrism, and a beacon for the nation of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This country will remain - God willing - the protector of the Two Holy Mosques, and a shield of Arabism led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince." Prof. Asiri added, "The hands of terrorism reached Abha; the factory of men and the history of tournaments in serving and protecting this towering country. The treacherous act resulted in the Martyrdom of men who devoted themselves to be a protective shield for their homeland; they represented the finest examples in keeping security, caring for pilgrims, and sacrificing for their dear country."

In his turn, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Sultan Al Farah expressed his big shock of the terroristic act which targeted the sons of the homeland in a house of God. He said, "God be with us and help us to fight this heinous enemy. Bombing the Special Forces mosque shocked the hearts; it was a tragedy of unspeakable cruelty." He added, "The terrorist bombed himself among worshipers and targeted young people who devoted themselves to protect us and our possessions. It was a coward act that had no relation to our religion. I wonder how come he could do this, and what are the motivations and the convictions that obliterated his mind, making him feel delighted with shedding Muslims' blood?!." Al Farah further clarified that such acts are bound to increase the cohesion of the people and stand as one against all actions that aim to destabilize the security and stability of our dear country that gave us a lot. Al Farah called for the need to combat this malignant deviant thought, stressing the importance of the roles of the society and family in controlling their children properly, which guarantees non-slip behind such destructive ideas.

For his part, the President of the Arab Language Department of the University Dr. Abdul Rahman Bin Hassan Al Mahsni stressed that everyone in this generous country enjoys security, safety, and righteous moderated understanding of the Islamic religion. Dr. Al Mahsni said, "Our leaders always insist on establishing security in various aspects of life so that everyone could enjoy and contribute in development." He added, "I do not know what kind of religion those who have blind insights want. I wonder couldn't they notice what this blessed country and its leaders offer to the religion and Muslims. In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful "And their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised." Al Mehasni stressed on the need to activate the anti-terrorism and religious fragmentation resolutions, which were approved by this country during the reign of the late King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz - may God have mercy on him – Al mahsani further added, "In this country, we follow one religious, where religious loyalties that generate such disparate visions are not allowed as these visions reflect negatively on generations" He added," I call upon the educational, cultural, religious and social institutions to build a unified strategy for the ongoing war with these stray clique till it comes back to the right path, the thing which is not impossible for God"

For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Merra Al Habash stated that the bombing which targeted innocent people in a place of worship, in a house of God is a criminal act free of humanity and faith. He said, "Definitely, the terroristic act will increase our unity and determination to fight against this deviant group and to expose their actions and bad intentions."

For her part, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Sarah Ubeida, Mezherah Al Yahya showed that the ugly event would "make us stronger to refute terrorism by all possible means". Adding that, "It was a great sorrow. The act was not human and was described by Allah as an unjust act: In the name of Allah, the most gracious, and the most merciful" Who does greater harm than he who prevents His Name to be remembered in the Mosques of Allah and strives to destroy them? Those, they will not enter them except in fear." Al Yahya wondered, "What mind, what religion this stray deviant claims!"
