The official spokesman of King Khalid University (KKU), Mr. Fahd bin Nomma, has clarified the circumstances of the complaint of a number of health diplomas holders. On this issue, Mr Nomma stated thus, "The University, in accordance with the royal decree, ordered to rehabilitate 95 of the graduates of the private institutions for a year, with the possibility to employ those who prove efficient. Others could be referred to the Ministry of Civil Service to take over their employment or refer them to the private sector."
Bin Nomma added that the University has placed the holders of health diplomas in a rehabilitation program for 12 months, giving them rewards that are equivalent to the salaries of their counterparts who are on official jobs. He pointed out that after the end of the program, extension has been granted for 93 graduates with the same features - with two of them wishing not to renew when they communicate with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Civil Service in order to find jobs for them, based on the directions of the Minister of Education. Those who get extension for 4 months with the same features communicated with the relevant authorities in order to find appropriate jobs for them. Moreover, a committee of specialists at the university has been formed to differentiate between them and to place them on the jobs that the university managed to provide. Bin Nomma confirmed that the university has contracted with 73 of them according to the differentiation standards on the item of the university hospital, and the rest were informed of the result, and their files were forwarded to the Ministry of Civil Service in accordance with the royal decree.
