The Admission and Registration Deanship of King Khalid University has received more than 13,000 enrollment request for the next academic year. This was during the first week of the admission, and it came through the University portal. Registration started on Thursday the 25th of Ragab 1436 AH, and will continue until 30th of Shaaban 1436 AH.
For his part, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Sultan Al Farah has explained that the acceptance of this year will be electronically conducted, meaning that the student will not have to send documents in the traditional way. Dr. Al Farah added that there would be sent SMS to the applicant as an essential means of communication with him or her. The Dean further stated that "the terms of acceptance are to get a high grade in school certificate or its equivalent, in addition to the entry of the necessary examinations of the specialization, with the presence of the national ID. Al Farah clarified that "the acceptance to the health disciplines requires at least the 90% cumulative average and the applicant must be a graduate of the current year. He stressed", pointing out further that "any application of a student who graduated more than 5 years will be rejected. Finally, acceptance will be according to the available vacancies, and priority will be accorded to new graduates".
Dr. Al Farah added that nominations would be during Ramadan as shown in the announced table. He said, "The electronic Da'em (supportive) system had been launched to respond to students' inquiries during the phase over the clock, thus an applicant does not need to visit the deanship." Dr. Al Farah stressed that the deanship "adopts transparency and justice in the completion of acceptance procedures.
