On Tuesday, the 28th of February, the King Khalid University Council held its 7th university council meeting for the academic year 1444AH, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the University Affairs Council, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and the Council members.
University Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Prof. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni, explained that the council discussed a number of topics and took the necessary recommendations.
Al-Qarni, added that the council agreed to grants scholarships to a number of teaching assistants, extend and attach a number of teaching assistants and lecturers scholarships , appoint a number of university lecturers, assistant professors, and associate professors, in addition, to grant Masters and Ph.D. degrees to a number of graduate students. The council also approved the recommendations of both the Audit Committee at its first meeting for the fiscal year 2023 and the Investment Committee at its second meeting for the fiscal year 2023.
It is worth mentioning , that a number of cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding between King Khalid University and various universities and parties were approved during the meeting, along with the university's final accounts for the fiscal year 2022.
