His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al Solami, attended the Deanship of Student Affairs student activities closing ceremony for the academic year 1443Ah. The ceremony was attended by the university vice presidents , college deans and university employees.
In his speech, Al-Solami stressed that the university is working to promote student activities and motivate students to take part in them. He praised the the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs in this aspect and commended the deanships launch of the “Mohtim” platform which will contribute to great work and quality outcomes. Al-Salami also stressed the role of student activities in enhancing student skills and its impact on their characters. He stressed that the university is determined that students excel and lead in all programs and events.
On his part the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Qahtani, highlighted a number of student achievement during the academic year 1443 which included international awards . He reviewed the structure of student activities and the stressed that students are the main focus of the deanship.
During the ceremony, a number of parties and individuals were honored, the college of Engineering was honored for ranking first among the college clubs, while the college of humanities came in second place and the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Khamis Mushait came in third place.
It is noteworthy that the ceremony also included an operetta, visual performances, and various segments.
