On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Education, His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, chaired the fourth meeting of the University Council for the academic year 1443, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and members of the Council.
The University Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni, explained that the council reviewed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary recommendations in their regard.
Al-Qarni said ,that the council recommended the approval of a number of scholarships, the extension of scholarships, the appointment of a number of professors to assistant professor, as well as granting master's degrees and doctorate degrees to a number of graduate students. He also noted that the university council recommended the restructuring the council of the Deanship of Graduate Studies for a period of two years, agreeing to reduce the fees for postgraduate diploma programs at the Accounting Department at the College of Business, as well as approving the use of services, delegation, communication, sabbatical, early retirement and resignation of a number of faculty members.
