King Khalid University celebrates with its new students and faculty members

with an exhibition and awards at the Open theatre.

Sponsored by the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al Daoud, the Deanship of Teaching Staff and Employees is arranging a reception ceremony for the new teaching staff tomorrow, Monday 13/11/1435 AH in the Central Stands of the University City, Abha.

The program of the celebration will include many sections, which will begin at 9.00 a.m. with registration, to be followed by the main event of development and quality, which is implemented by the Deanship of Academic Development. In addition, there will be a comprehensive introductory presentation about the university and its faculties and departments.

Next, a discussion will take place about rules and regulations adopted by the university, also there will be a display to be presented by e-learning unit, after which, Admission and Registration Deanship will present snapshots about the academic system of the university.

Against this background, the President of the University is sponsoring a reception ceremony for the new students next Tuesday at 10.00 am, which is going to be organized by the Student Affairs Deanship. The venue for that occasion is University Theater, in the University City, Abha. The celebration will be accompanied by an exhibition, which will be held over two days in the closed Gymnasium Hall and with the participation of a number of bodies.

The celebration will also include a number of activities, starting with a recitation from the Holy Quran, to be followed by the President's word, after which a presentation for a documentary film about the university and its faculties, departments, Supportive Deanships, and the degree of success the University reached will be highlighted. The students will also listen to a brief on some of the Deanships at the University. This will be presented by the Deans of Student Affairs, Admission and Registration, and e-learning.

The organizing Deanship has stressed on the diversity of events at the occasion. The attendees will watch a video entitled "Memories of a graduate student," which focuses on the most important memories that a graduate passed through studying at the university. The occasion will be closed with a number of awards and competitions that will be arranged in the Open Theater.
