23 Papers in the Second Day of Teachers Conference

The conference entitled 'Teacher Development Requirements and Future Ambition Conference' concluded its second day with 5 sessions in which 23 scientific papers were presented. King Khalid University hosted the conference organized by the Saudi Scientific Association for Teachers.

 

Professor of Islamic Education at King Khalid University, Prof. Saleh Abu Arad, chaired the first session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:

 

  • Professional Learning Societies and their Role in Teachers Development, Prof. Fahad Al-Shaya, King Saud University;
  • A Balanced Assessment System for Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: An Alternative Model and Proposal for Ongoing Assessment, Director of the Professional Examination Department, Prof. Abdu-Allah Al-Saadawy;
  • The Role of Scientific and Educational Associations in Professional Development of Teachers, Dr. Aisha Al-Amri, Taibah University.

 

Department of Education Head at King Khalid University, Dr. Ahmad Al-Gufairy, chaired the second session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:

 

  • Electronic Learning: Achieving Professional Development and Digital Future Predictability for the College of Art Members at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Dr. Fatimah Abu Al-Hadid and Dr. Dua Abdul-Samee;
  • Teacher's Efficiency and its Relationship with the Social and Personal Responsibility for Special Education Teachers, Dr. Mohammad Mutawaa, King Khalid University;
  • A Suggested Proposal for Developing Teacher's Professional Capabilities, Prof. Asma Abdul-Qadir and Dr. Jasmin Aladdin, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University;
  • Motives of Arabic Language Teachers to Use Social Media and its Impact on their Professional Prosperity, Prof. Abdullah bin Jabra, King Khalid University;
  • The Effectiveness of an Enrichment Unite in Social Studies Based on a Multiple Intelligence Theory to Develop Awareness of National Belonging Concept for High School Freshmen Year, Ms. Sara Asiri, King Khalid University.

 

Higher Education Administration professional at King Khalid University, Prof. Mansour Al-Qahtani, chaired the third session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:

 

  • The Availability of National Professional Standards of Teachers for Education Students at Najran University, Dr. Yahya Faqeeh;
  • Professional Empowerment of the Teacher in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Light of Ethic Education Principles, Dr. Noura Al-Oayed, Prince Satam University;
  • The Impact of Career Expatriation on the Professional Improvement and Classroom Production for General Education Teachers at the Administration of Education in Hail, Ms. Dua Baik.

 

Dean of College of Education at King Khalid University, Dr. Thabit Al-Qahtani, chaired the fourth session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:

 

  • Preparing Teachers for the Sequential System According to the Common National Professional Standards for Teachers in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Mohammad Al-Safran, King Khalid University;
  • Assessing the Twenty-First Century's Faculty Skills in Light of 2030 Saudi Vision in the Preparatory Year from the Student Perspective, Dr. Hayah Al-Amri, Taybah University;
  • The Reality of Professional Online Learning Communities for Biology Female Teachers in Riyadh; Ms. Ahlam Al-Juhani and Prof. Abdullah Al-Fahad, Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University;
  • Teacher Preparation in Singapore, Director of the Education Office in Sabia, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Tharwy.

 

College of Education Higher Studies Vice Dean, King Khalid University, Dr. Mofarih bin Kurdom, chaired the fifth session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:

 

  • The Implementation of Modern Techniques in Teacher Preparation Programs (TPACK Framework), Dr. Salwa Salem, Taibah University, and Dr. Ghaida Al-Zahrani, Najran University;
  • Obstacles to Applying the Exhaustive Quality Management Standards in Secondary schools in Makkah Al-Mukarramah from the Teacher Perspective, Prof. Walid Al-Qurashi, Taif Department of Education. Prof. Muhammad Al-Nafiei, Makkah Al-Mukarramah Department of Education;
  • The Professional Requirements of Palestinian Teachers Before Service in Light of the Twenty-First Century Skills, Dr. Munawar Adnan, Islamic University of Gaza, and Professor Muhammad Al-Madhoun, Ministry of Education in Gaza;
  • Quality Assurance in Preparing Teachers Program in Saudi Arabia in Light of the American Accreditation Council Experience for Teacher Preparation, Ms. Noura Al-Soroor, Najran Department of Education.

 

Assistant Professor of Islamic Education at King Khalid University, Dr. Dhafer Al Hammad, chaired the last session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:

 

  • The Effect of Using Virtual Classes on the Student Teachers Attainment in the Educational Diploma at the College of Education at Hail University and their Motivation Towards it as an Educational Tool, Dr. Hamad Al-Rashidi;
