College of Medicine Holds Campaign to Raise Awareness on Stem Cell Donation

King Khalid University, represented by the College of Medicine and the Creative Medicine Club, organized an awareness campaign on the importance of stem cell donation. The campaign will be held in collaboration with the Saudi Stem Cells Donor Registry (SSCDR).
College of Medicine Dean, Prof. Suliman Mohammed Al-Humayed, said that the campaign aims to raise awareness on the importance of donating stem cells and facilitating the registration of donors, noting that stem cell transplantation is used to treat many life-threatening diseases.
The campaign will be held at the Airport Park, Art Street, and Al Rashid Mall under the supervision and follow-up of Dean Al-Humayed and Student Activities Director, Dr. Wadah Al-Almaie.
