The International Conference "The teacher and the era of knowledge" held five sessions on the second day.

A number of scientific sessions have been held during "the teacher and the era of knowledge of the opportunities and challenges" Conference, which is being held under the slogan "renewed teacher to a changing world. The conference is organized by King Khalid University, represented by the College of Education, under the auspices of the Minister of Education, His Excellency, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa. The sessions have discussed a number of topics pertaining to teacher and education colleges.

The first sessions of the conference began with the participation of Dr. Khalid Bin Ibrahim Al-Turki, of the University of Imam. It was about teaching performance improvement for Arabic language teachers in secondary schools in Riyadh in light of the 21st century skills. Dr. Mujahid Maimon from the University, and Dr. Al Zaher Moulay, had a participation about specifications that should be available in a teacher in light of the challenges of the knowledge age. He explained that education with the era of globalization and the era of knowledge had become of utmost importance, as it - education - is the fundamental basis for preparing the human being; who is the creator of politics, economy, culture and thought maker. Dr. Maimon noted that the education sector has become the most sensitive among all sectors, being the actual embodied for the success or failure of the policy of a country on the ground. He stressed that the countries that had succeeded in the educational policies are able to withstand all the shifts and changes witnessed by the world. Next was a participation by Dr. Maimon, which was a research about teaching performance assessment for teachers of mathematics in primary education in the light of the successful learning of the 21st century, submitted by Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi and Mr. Faisal Fahd Al-Qahtani. The research was interested in determining the teaching performance level of mathematics teachers in primary education in the light of successful learning framework in the 21st century. Dr. Zaki Abboud, provided a research alternative as a modern direction in the evaluation of student's performance. The research also aimed to clarify the difference between the modern assessment and the traditional one, the strengths, and the weaknesses in them.
