University Council agrees on sabbatical for a number of faculty members.

His Excellency, the Rector of King Khalid University, who is also the Vice - President of the University Council, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, has headed the third meeting of the University Council. The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Council of Higher Education, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Al Saleh, university Vice - Presidents, deans, and supportive deanships, in addition to the deans of girls' colleges who are members of the Council, and who witnessed the meeting via the internet. Rector Al Dawood opened the session, with a prayer, praising God and praying to His Messenger, peace be upon him. Then the Secretary of the Board, Dr. Mari Al-Qahtani, went through the topics tabled on the agenda of the meeting. During this third meeting, the Council agreed on sabbatical for a number of faculty members. Also, the council has approved the extension of the training course for a faculty member of the School of Medicine, in addition to the approval of scientific communication for faculty member at the Faculty of Science. Other issues agreed by the council include a proposed amendment to the concession period for the path of a Pharmacy doctor, the upgrading of a number of the higher echelons of the staff of the university, in addition to the adoption of the proposed numbers to be accepted in the diploma and bachelor programs for the academic year 1437 - 1438 AH.

The council also reviewed a number of topics and took appropriate decisions on them. This was stated by the University Vice - President, who is also the Secretary of the Board, Prof. Dr. Mari Al-Qahtani.
