University concluded initial agreements with a number of local and international universities.

The King Khalid University pavilion go on welcoming its visitors in the exhibition of the 6thInternational Conference on Higher Education the third day in a row, amid a big turnout from all segments of the society and from those who are interested. On the sidelines of the exhibition, the University concluded a number of initial agreements with a group of local and international universities, in order to improve and develop the educational process in various fields. Through these agreements, the University authority seeks to develop the institution academically and professionally. For example, the University has completed a preliminary agreement with the University of Auckland in New Zealand, which is one the largest renowned universities known for its progress in health education in general and research in particular. Through this agreement, the University sought to support its health education and develop it.

The supervisor of the university conference pavilion, Prof. Khaled Al-jelban clarified that the university through this conference wqs aiming to hold, develop, and nurture a number of agreements in various fields for the university services and development. He said, "through mutual visits between our university and the universities participation in the exhibition, we discussed many of the things which we seek to achieve the objectives that are in line with the vision and objectives of King Khalid University. It is expected that our university will get a good outcome from the agreements with a number of distinguished universities in the areas the University needs." He added, "Up till now, all of these agreements have not taken the official shape or have not been signed, as they are just preliminary agreements on the way to be signed according to the procedures."

It is noteworthy that these initial agreements included the process of curriculum development by creating external evaluator who evaluates the university's current curriculum, in addition to working on joint scientific research, with finding a way to share their experiences by faculty members, and cooperation in teaching process through the e-learning.
