King Khalid University Obtains Academic Accreditation for 13 Programs

King Khalid University has obtained academic accreditation for 13 programs from the Education and Training Evaluation Authority, represented by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment "NCAAA", in several colleges of the university.

In detail, the University's Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, explained that five programs from the accredited programs in the College of Arts and Humanities, and Education, have received full programmatic accreditation. These include a Ph.D. in Arabic Language, Master's in Arabic Language, Master's in Islamic Education Foundations, as well as Master's in Educational Leadership - Executive, and a Bachelor's in Geography.

Moreover, eight of the accredited programs have received conditional academic accreditation in the Colleges of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Engineering, Computer Science, Languages and Translation, and Arts and Humanities. These include a Ph.D. in Systems, Professional Master's in Systems, Master's in Translation, Master's in Applied Linguistics, Master's in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor's in Information Systems, Bachelor's in History, and Bachelor's in Media and Communication.

Dajam emphasized the existence of a plan within the university and coordination between the colleges and the University's Agency for Academic Affairs, represented by the Deanship of Development and Quality, to accredit all programs that have not been accredited yet. The university is committed to completing the requirements of conditional accreditations. He emphasized that the university is keen on ensuring sustainable quality practices.

It is noteworthy that the university has made significant progress in accrediting most of its programs at various academic levels through obtaining national and international accreditation.
