KKU Earns Innovation and Digital Education and Training Awards

The university earned two awards from the National Center for Digital Education in the fields of innovation and digital education and training.

Dean of E-learning  Education Deanship, Dr. Adel Ibrahim Qahmash, said that the university earned the first award, "Educational Resources Enrichment" through OERx, and the second, "Human Skills Development" through FutureX.

Qahmash, confirmed, "these awards highlight the university's human resources development, its efforts to enrich content on OERx, in addition to focusing the spotlight on  the open-source educational platform, which includes  more than 6000 videos and 150,000 users. He added,  the university also provides educational content through the FutureX platform, with a user base of around 6000 students and 15,000 certificates".

As part of its developmental plans,  the Deanship of E-learning Education recently launched a virtual reality lab that provides advanced simulation of the natural educational environment.
