University Council Holds its 11th Meeting and Approves the University's 2024 Budget
On behalf of His Excellency Minister of Education, His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solami, chaired the 11th meeting of the University Council for the academic year 1445 AH. The meeting was held at the University City in Al-Fara’a in the presence of the Secretary-General of the University Affairs Council, Dr. Bassam bin Abdullah Al-Bassam and members of the Council the university.
The University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Prof. Hamed bin Majdou Al-Qarni, explained that the Council reviewed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary decisions.
Al-Qarni explained that the council agreed to grant scholarships to a number of teaching assistants, extend and attach a number of teaching assistants and lecturers scholarships, and grant Masters's and Ph.D. degrees to a number of graduate students. Further, the proposed university budget project for the fiscal year 1445/1446 AH (2024 AD) was also reviewed in the meeting.
The council also suggested that the university adopt its extracurricular activity plan for the academic year 1445, approve the examination and the academic curriculum's regulations for the undergraduate level, approve the amendment of the names of professional programs at the College of Education in addition to a number of study plans for bachelor's programs according to the semester system.
