University Promotes the Volunteerism Administration to a General Administration
His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-
Solami, recently issued an administrative decision to amend the name of the
“Department of Volunteerism and Community Responsibility” to the “General
Administration of Volunteerism and Community Partnership” and to reform its new
structure.
The administration’s mission in its new framework stems from providing volunteer
services in scientific and professional ways. That is by spreading and consolidating
the concept of sustainable social volunteer work and by providing distinguished
volunteer activities of noble value to the various societal sectors, whilst believing in
the university's social responsibility towards its community.
It is worth noting that the General Administration of Volunteerism and Community
Partnership holds, in its new structure, three departments, including the Volunteer
Work Department, the Community Partnerships Department, and the Programs and
Events Department.
