University Concludes its 5th Student Entrepreneurship Camp in Collaboration with "Monsha'at"

On Tuesday the 18th of October, King Khalid University, represented by the
Creativity, Giftedness and Entrepreneurship Center, concluded its 5th Student
Entrepreneurship Camp, which was held recently in collaboration with the Small &
Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at". Among the attendees of the
ceremony was His Excellency University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-
Solami, in addition to a number of university deans and officials in the new campus at
Al-Qaraa.


In his speech, which was delivered at the beginning of the ceremony, Al-Hadithi,
explained that the university was pleased to host this camp and collaborate with
"Monsha'at". A collaboration he added, is driven by a shared vision to serve the
community and to further the development role of the university in order to create a
stimulating environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, incubate creative
projects and transform them into products, noting that this camp was aligned with the
Kingdom's vision. 


On the same occasion, Al-Hadithi thanked His Excellency the university president for
his support and keenness to accelerate the motion of knowledge and provide the
needed tools to students in the field of entrepreneurship. He also expressed his
gratitude to all bodies that made this camp a successful one, especially the Small &
Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" and the Creativity, Giftedness
and Entrepreneurship Center.


It is worth noting, that at the end of the ceremony, entrepreneurs, organizers,
participants, as well as winners of the camp competitions were honored.
