The University Concludes its Participation in the ICEE 2022 with 7 Agreements, 5 Workshops, and the Preparation of 75 Accreditation Programs

King Khalid University concluded its participation in the International Conference and Exhibition for Education 2022, which was organized by the Ministry of Education during the period 7-10 Shawwal in the city of Riyadh. The conference and exhibition included the  participation of more than 260 international and local universities and educational institutions from 23 countries.

 

The university’s participation was represented in providing 5 workshops specialized in e-learning and artificial intelligence, in addition to an introductory pavilion f which introduced the university and its  programs. During the conference the university signed 7 agreements  that included strengthening cooperation in the academic, research and community programs  and preparing 75 academic programs for accreditation.

 

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, thanked the Ministry of Education for organizing the conference, praising the conference and exhibition. He added  that the conference and exhibition contributes to creating a competitive educational environment through the exchange of experiences and partnerships between local and international educational institutions, and  upgrading  the education system in the Kingdom to achieve aspirations and objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

 

In addition, the university Vice President of Quality and Development , Dr. Marzan Al-Shahrani, supervisor of the participating pavilion, said  that during this conference, the university signed 7 agreements with several parties, including two agreements with the Education and Training Authority,  an agreements with Al-Baha  Universities, in addition to the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, the National Center E-learning, and the Food and Drug Authority. He  pointed  that the university also contributed to enriching the workshops held within the conference activities by presenting 5 workshops focused on the concept of micro-certificates, artificial intelligence applications and research in education, designing educational platforms, designing micro-learning,  as well as designing educational experiences.

 

It is worth noting that the  university's pavilion witnessed the visit of a large number of visitors and guests.
