The University Signs Three Agreements with the Launch of ICEE 2022

King Khalid University signed 3 cooperation agreements during the launch of the International Conference and Exhibition for Education 2022, which is organized by the Ministry of Education during the period 7-10 Shawwal in Riyadh. The International Conference and Exhibition for Education 2022 includes the participation of more than 260 international and local universities and educational institutions from 23 countries.

The agreements aim  to create cooperation  opportunities   with Al Baha University to achieve integration in academic, scientific, research, training and cultural fields, in addition to the developmental and administrative fields as well as knowledge investment.

 

While His Excellency the President of the University, Prof.  Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, stressed the importance in participating in  this distinguished scientific gathering in order to achieve integration between educational institutions and participating parties to serve the Kingdom’s vision 2030. He praised  the efforts of the Ministry of Education in organizing this conference and its programs to serve the development of the education system in the Kingdom.

 

The university also signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Maarefa University to achieve academic, social and cultural goals, as well as training in the fields of innovation, leadership and scientific research, given the academic expertise and diverse advisory services that the two parties possess in different disciplines.

 

A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the university and the Saline Water Conversion Corporation to enhance cooperation in the field of water desalination and solar energy by implementing joint research, and finding innovative and sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by the saline water desalination industry. Through a joint research program the university aspires to  address the problems of saline water and energy, in addition to facilitating visits between the employees of the two specialized bodies, holding scientific meetings, as well as benefiting from the laboratories and equipment in both entities in order to serve the objectives of research cooperation between the two parties.
