A Meeting to Align the Plans and Programs of the University with the Human Capacity Development Program and Asir Development Strategy

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, recently sponsored a meeting to “Align  the  Plans and Programs in the Three-Semester System with the Human Capacity Development Program and Asir development  Strategy. The meeting was  organized by the University agency Academic Affairs and  was moderated by the General Supervisor of the Office of the Transition to the Three-Semester System at the University, Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani.

 

The meeting included a speech by the Vice President  of  Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajam, in which he affirmed the university’s keenness to take into account the alignment of its plans and programs with the human capacity development program and the strategy of the Asir , noting that this requires enhancing skills and intensifying training and communication. Al Dajam  reviewed a number of  proposals  in terms of alignment with the strategy of developing  Asir region, including programs in tourism, hospitality, culture, arts, architecture, agriculture, livestock, marine sports and nature.

 

The meeting also included a talk on the axis of "educational programs and curricula" presented by the General Supervisor of the Curriculum and Plans Unit, Dr. Adwaa Al-Ahmari, and another talk on the axis of "Training and Vocational Guidance" presented by the supervisor of the Student Training Unit, Dr. Mona Al-Shehri.

 

It is worth noting, that  the meeting witnessed the presence of a number of officials and employees from the university.
