The President of the University Inaugurates, College of Nursing Laboratories and the Bridging program

His Excellency King Khalid University Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami attended the inauguration ceremony of the College of Nursing laboratories and  the  bridging program, the ceremony was also attended by the Director of Armed Forces Hospitals in the South, Major General Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Otaibi, representatives of health care entities  in  Asir region, and  deans of  public and private health colleges in the region.

 

The Dean of the College of Nursing in Abha, Dr. Aida Al-Qarni, explained  that the launch of the Nursing Bridging Program comes as a result of numerous meetings and survey studies  that confirmed  the program’s  impact and necessity on beneficiaries.

The  University Vice president of Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Dr. Abdullatif Al-Hadithi, explained in his speech during the opening ceremony that the program comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to activate its role in achieving human  development which is one of the goals of the recent strategy launched by his Royal Highness, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman - may God protect him . He stressed the university’s keenness to achieve quality outcomes and the the highest standards of academic accreditation in such programs.

It is worth noting, that  the  Bridging Program aims to grant health diploma holders a bachelor’s degree in Nursing , stressing that the number of applicants has exceeded 700 aplicants.
