The university receives general education students and employees to get the vaccine immunization against the COVID 19

King Khalid University, represented by the Corona Vaccine Center in the university’s medical city, allowed students and employees of public education to benefit from the center’s services to get the vaccine against COVID 19. On this day the 12th of July, the center witnessed the launch of its work by immunizing the employees and students of general education. This was in the presence of the in charge General Director of Asir Education, Prof. Safar Al-Baridi, and the Executive Director of the University Medical City, Prof. Fouad Abaq.

At the beginning of the inauguration, Prof. Fouad Abaq gave an overview of the center services. He stressed on the university’s keenness to provide immunization services to all segments of society. Such keenness is based on the directives of the University Rector Prof. Faleh bin Raja Al-Solamy. He also pointed to the university’s interest in providing the vaccine for general education employees in order to return to the educational environment safely.

From the part of in-charge General Director of Asir Education, he thanked the university and all those working in the Vaccine Center, praising the cooperation and efforts made. On that notice, he also urges all education employees in Asir to take the vaccine which will lead to the safe return to study seats.

It is noteworthy that the University’s Corona Vaccine Center continues to provide the immunization services for the first and second doses during the Eid Al-Adha vacation for university employees and students as well as general education employees and students, including the age groups 12 years and above.
