Prioritizing Health
King Khalid University, represented by the Community Service Unit in Tihamat Qahtan, organized a health awareness event entitled “ Health First “ under the patronage of the Governor of Sarat, Ubaidah , Mr.Misfer bin Hamid Al Mahdi, at Al-Farsha General Hospital. The event included the participation of the head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, Dr. bin Abadi Al Salim, and Dr. Faisal bin Saeed Al-Qahtani.
The event focused on two main topics: chronic diseases and the mechanism of dealing with them during the holy month of Ramadan, and the methods to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It is worth noting that the community service unit ,in Tihama Qahtan, was established recently, to contribute to providing services to the region.
