Deanship of Graduate Studies Mobaderoon Courses Attracted 20K Participants

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at King Khalid University held six free training courses as a part of "Mobaderoon". The project, launched in summer 2020, aimed to offer unique learning opportunities during the lockdown.

 

Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Ahmed bin Yahya Al-Fayea, explained that the training courses were given following the COVID-19 protocols, noting that they were delivered online. He thanked everyone who participated in implementing them.

 

Dean Al-Fayea pointed out that the courses encompassed several topic areas such as common mistakes in writing scientific research papers, stress management, building questionnaires, statistical analysis, a program to organize and manage references in Arabic and English, the skills of academic summarization and criticism of previous studies, and the mechanisms of writing research plans and scientific dissertations.

 

Vice Dean of Female Graduate Studies, Dr. Aisha Al-Rizeh, explained the courses targeted graduate students. She highlighted that these courses' recordings will be uploaded to the Deanship of Graduate Studies' YouTube Channel.

 

Of note, six courses benefitted around 20,000 participants, with 18,603 from Saudi Arabia and 1,475 abroad.
