University President inspects building at the university Center of girls' medical colleges at Asir Central Hospital.

Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood​, King Khalid University President stated for the necessity for moving the Department of Physical Therapy of the University Center for Girls' Medical Colleges at Asir Central Hospital from the third to the first floor in the building. The action is because of the benefit of the target group. His Excellency also called for the provision of ambulances to serve the center of Academic Medical Services. The President made the call yesterday during his visit to the building of the University Center for Girls' Medical Colleges at Asir Central Hospital, and to the General Administration of the center of Academic Medical Services (Head Office, the new Headquarter). The visit was to inspect what has been provided of facilities such as medical equipment, classrooms and medical laboratories at the site, as well as the buildings there. The visit also included the Department of Physical Therapy and the center of Academic Medical Services.

On this occasion, the Dean of the University Center for Female students' studies, Dr. Shanifa Al-Qarni thanked Aldawood on his visit to the center. She added that the visit reflects His Excellency's keenness and personal follow-up in order to improve the university learning environment for students. She said, "These enhancements and modifications which were carried out over the past few months, are evidence of his excellency's commitment to provision of qualitative education. We thank God, and we thankful for the continuous exerted efforts, and the intensive follow-up of the university administration and His Excellency the University Vice - President for Health Specialties, Dr. Khalid Jelban." She added, "We appreciate his scientific and practical point of view concerning the need to transfer the Department of Physical Therapy to the first floor, and his commitment to empower the female students of physiotherapy specialization to acquire more skills by creating an appropriate place for them and for pathological cases. She concluded confirming that the implementation of the resolution needs a full study for the benefits to stakeholders."
