KKU, the Golden Sponsor for Career Day, in Australia

King Khalid University (KKU) sponsored Career Day for scholars in Australia as a Gold Sponsor. The event which was held in Brisbane city, was sponsored by the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid Al-Angari, with the participation of many government bodies and private sectors. On the occasion, a graduation ceremony for a group of scholars was arranged. The number of scholars from the Australian universities reached 1614.

King Khalid University participated in the main event with a special program called Career Day, an event that coincided with the graduation ceremony, in which the university offered a number of vacancies to prospective scholars and academicians. Additionally, the delegation highlighted the most important achievements of the university, and the status of its scientific research, as well as its social missions. Also, a team of the university officials had a number of interviews with the aim of attracting distinguished scholars, who are willing to get one of the university jobs.

On that occasion, King Khalid University Vice-President for projects,  who was also the supervisor on the university delegation, Dr Sulaiman Bin Saleh Al-Soyan, stated that the University's participation was guided by the university's President, Dr. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al Dawoud who activated the program to attract distinguished academicians to the university, and to benefit from the outputs of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Scholarship program, set to give youth the opportunity to contribute to the development and construction of this great nation.

It is noteworthy that the university participating delegation included high profile academicians such as  the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Saad Al Dajm, the Dean of the College of Computer, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabah, and the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shahrani.
