King Khalid University: participation in the "Profession Day" in America supports development in our country

Under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid Al-Angari, and the Saudi Ambassador in America, Adel Al-Jubeir, the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Washington organized the Profession Day Exhibition, which was accompanying the graduation ceremony of the seventh group of King Abdullah's program for Scholarship in America.

King Khalid University participated in this exhibition as the gold sponsor. The meeting with students of scholarships held over four days, the first three days were for the meetings among the graduates, and participated universities and institutions, as the fourth day was to conduct personal interviews to those who pre-selected. The exhibition has witnessed large attendances of graduates, scholars, and employers, both public and private.

In this regard, the Vice-President of the University, Marae Bin Hussein Al-Qahtani clarified that there are 300 applicant scholars applied for King Khalid University in the exhibition, only 208 of them will be employed, including 158 jobs as Assistant Professor, 50 lecturers and teachers in the disciplines of scholarship, including medical science, Health Science, Engineering, Computer Science, the Basic Sciences, Legal Sciences, Management and Languages.

Al-Qahtani also added that the university participated in the Profession Day to provide job opportunities for students of scholarship, and attract talent and rare specialties in the Medicine field, so as to support development project in the Kingdom.
