The Custodian of the two Holy Mosques agrees to establish a number of new research centres at King Khalid University

The Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz agrees to establish a number of  new research centres at King Khalid University. He agreed to establish research and studies centre in Administrative and Financial Sciences College and Studies Centre at Engineering College besides a centre for assessment and measurement. His Royal Highness, Allah blesses him, approved the meeting of Higher Education Council in its seventy-third session.

His Excellency the university President, Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Hamid Aldawood   appreciated and thanked the sponsor and the first supporter for Higher Education, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and he expressed that there is a continuous care for education in general and Higher Education in particular and the insight vision to save all possibilities to enable Higher Education wheel to move forward. Also, the University President thanked and appreciated His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Khalid, Asir region Governorate for his interest and continuous  follow for the University. He said" This something we felt through his permanent follow for the workflow and his desire to encounter all the difficulties that may arise" He appreciated all the efforts the government exert for the university in order to offer high level educational services and to meet the goals of Higher Education Ministry.

Aldawood said that the university started to establish the centres that got approval recently, adding that the university works currently on supplying these centres with technical and administrative cadres besides other supplies needed for the opening of these centres.
