King Khalid University Council approved three new study plans for Master degree
King Khalid University President and the Vice Chairman for the University Council, Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Hamid aldawood headed the 3rd meeting of the University Council for the year 1434/1435AH. HE started the meeting presenting condolences to the Council for the death of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohamed Alshahrani, a member of the teaching staff of Sharia and Religion Fundamentals College praying to Allah to settle him in paradise. HE also welcomed Student Affairs Dean, Dr. Muria Alhabash and Community Service Dean, Dr.Mubarak Hemdan who both have joined the council recently.
After that, the Secretary of the Council, Dr. Hamood abu Zheir clarified the scheduled topics. The council discussed three study plans for Master degree for its both paths, syllabus and dissertation path and Syllabus path. The Council approved Master two plans, syllabus system for the major of Quran and its Sciences at Sharia and Religion Fundamentals College and the plan of Geography at Humanities College. Also, the Council approved the study plan of Quran and its Sciences by the Syllabus and Dissertation System.
Concerning student affairs, the council approved re enrolling and granting extra chances for the students, male and female , in Master programs to complete their study plan, in addition to accepting two Afghani students to get their Bachelor degree from the university.
The University Council approved adding five members from teaching staff to Community College and Education College Councils in the University branch in Bisha for the academic year
