The General Directorate of Information Technology (iT) will organize the 'Global Game Jam (GCJ)' on January 30, 2020. The event will continue for 3 days in the training hall of iT. GCJ is held concurrently around the world around a central theme with a 48-hour deadline to create a game. It is no surprise that GCJ is the largest global event in the development of electronic games because it fosters creative thinking, which has and will continue to result in innovative and experimental games.

CIO, Dr. Mohammed Alsaqer, explained that GCJ at King Khalid University is a unique opportunity for participants to create and collaborate, inviting everyone of any skill level to take part.
