University Rector Sponsors Safety and Security Ceremony and Plans Saudi Digital Library Supervisor Meeting
King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, recently hosted a ceremony honoring the Safety and Security Department. University Vice Rector, Dr. Mohammad Al-Hasoon, welcomed the attendees and thanked the Rector for his efforts and continued support for university activities and projects. Vice Rector Al-Hasoon thanked the university employees for their efforts with the General Department of Safety and Security this academic year. The Rector then presented honors to the Vice Rector and 80 outstanding university employees.
After the ceremony, His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy met with the Dean of Library Affairs in preparation for a meeting with representatives of the Saudi Digital Library. The advisor to the Minister of Education and the General Supervisor of the Saudi Digital Library are expected to attend. The Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Naser, explained that the purpose of the meeting is to discuss fields of mutual interest and the e-publication of theses.
