King Khalid University Announces Admission to Bachelor and Diploma Programs

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Admission and Registration, announces the start of online admissions to bachelor and diploma programs for the academic year 1439-1440 AH. It will officially kick-off Sunday the 17th of Shawwal and will remain open until the 10th of Dhu'l Qi'dah.

Dean of Admissions, Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Qarni, confirmed that all applications would be received online through the Academia Portal which is available on the university website http://registration.kku.edu.sa/.

Dean Al-Qarni explained that both the Qudrat and Tahseeli assessment final test scores will be updated on the application automatically, without the need of any registration or follow-up with the admission office, stressing that no applications will be received or accepted after the closing date. He further pointed out that the admission process will be in accord with final percentage scores and desired fields, as well as the number of seats available in every school. He also added that the admissions process includes three stages. The first stage will include percentages between 80-100% and will be announced on the 15th of Dhu'l Qi'dah. The second stage will include percentages between 75-100% and will be announced on the 18th of Dhu'l Qi'dah. The third stage will be set according to the available seats and will be announced on the 25th of Dhu'l Qi'dah.

Regarding the new specialties established by the university, Dean Al-Qarni confirmed that the university’s belief in providing the community with the needs and specialties required by the labor market is the motive behind the new programs, adding that the university established 10 new majors in different fields. It is worth mentioning that all admissions information and requirements are available on the university website or through the application inquiries icon on the university website for any questions with a direct response from the dean of admission.
