Awareness Lecture Held at Border Guard Headquarters in Dhahran Al-Janoub

In support and recognition of the symposium held on the extraordinary efforts of coalition countries in the development and stability of Yemen, King Khalid University organized a lecture at the Border Guard Headquarters in Dhahran Al-Janoub.

At the beginning of the lecture, the Commander of the Border Guards, Colonel Nasser Al-Qahtani, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the delegation and praised the efforts of the university and its media for offering full support. He reassured everyone that they are optimistic in their noble quest to support their religion and homeland. He further expressed his appreciation to the outstanding leadership of HRM King Salman and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to facilitate any obstacles and difficulties facing border guard staff and all members of the military and security sectors.

This was followed by a speech by the General Supervisor of the University's Intellectual Awareness Unit, Dr. Yahya Al-Bahri, who spoke about homeland security and the need to recognize and preserve the value of this blessing, especially as there is a concerted effort by hostile adversaries to destabilize the Kingdom and its tranquility. He also thanked the border guards for their heroic work. Immediately following,  Director of Training Programs at Prince Nayef Arab University for Security Sciences, Major General Dr. Ali Al-Ruwaili, addressed the employees of the Border Guard and congratulated them on their valiant efforts at the southern border, which have made a significantly positive impact in stabilizing the security situation.

The lecture was concluded with a speech from the Head of the Center of Development of Senior Administrative Leadership, Dr. Faisal Al-Sumairi, where he asserted the immeasurable role that border guards play in maintaining the integrity of the Kingdom's border. To conclude, he expressed his profound appreciation for the hard work exerted leading to international praise in terms of their high level of focus and commitment to saving lives on a daily basis.
