KSA Universities Equestrian Cup: Jam'e Wins 1400m Race in a Spectacular Finish

His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University, Dr. Faleh Bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy, crowned "Jam’e," a magnificent horse from the stable of His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, in the University's Equestrian Cup. The horse came first in the 1400m races for 4-year-old horses.

The crowning of the winning horse occurred during the 42nd Equestrian Club Ceremony, which was held recently in King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square in Riyadh.

The race included 10 competitions – in which King Khalid University participated in the eighth –  and Jam'e topped all 4-year-old horses in the 1400 meters race. His Excellency the Rector handed the First Place Cup to the stable of HRH Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Abdulaziz. In second place came “Fury,” another strong contender from the stable of Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Abdulaziz. Third place was achieved by the horse, "Brother,” from the stable of Prince Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabir's sons.

It is noteworthy that King Khalid University has an equestrian student club. Moreover,  it aims to launch all equestrian related activities in order to reach the levels that are appropriate for the history and position of the University in this field.
