After several months of preparation, we are excited to announce that our new Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Clinic is now open! The new University Clinics will provide a host of primary healthcare services to all students and staff members to promote high standards of health and well-being. Also, King Khalid University Medical Clinics will offer an expanded range of services, namely, a first-class cardiology clinic, and a specialized clinic to rehabilitate inner ear disorders and balance.

Primary care services will also include previously operational specialized clinics in family medicine, community, gynecology, obstetrics, skin diseases, psychiatry, abdominal, orthopedics, pediatrics, as well as other dental and general medicine clinics.

It is important to note that these clinics are supervised by a team of consultants from the Faculty of Medicine and Outpatient Clinics, the Saudi Family Medicine Fellowship Program, and the Community of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine. More importantly, highly skilled nursing staff will always be readily available to assist patients. Even more, a medical lab for all medical examinations is in full effect in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine and Applied Medical Sciences.

The clinics also include a department for all types of radiology supervised by the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, as well as all medical immunizations (vaccinations). The medical services will also include an integrated pharmacy to dispense all medications.

Dr. Fuad Abaq, the Executive General Supervisor of the Medical City, said that they seek further development in the opening of what they see as needed access to quality primary and preventive care that is essential for of the university employees, stressing that he will, God willing, open more specialized clinics soon.
