His Excellency, the Rector of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy, considered the Custodian’s Royal resolution a historic event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new anti-corruption formed by His Royal Majesty, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz,  acted with precision under its primary mandate to identify offenses, crimes, persons, and entities involved in cases of public corruption. His Excellency, the Rector of King Khalid University, added that people are genuinely overjoyed with the resolution which illustrates the profound wisdom of His Royal Majesty and His Royal Highness. Rector Al-Solamy pointed out that fighting corruption is a principal characteristic of any civilized society. Fighting corruption will ensure social justice and genuine equality for everyone. His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman, asserted this matter earlier when he said that no one would be exempt from justice.

The Royal Decree allows for clear direction towards transparency and questioning and was issued at a time the Kingdom is launching numerous projects. Rector Al-Solamy explained, “It appears that the decree would run after all crimes of corruption that were committed in the past but, at the same time, the decree will be an interface to the future. The decree sends a clear message to everyone; justice has hands and could punish those who dare think to encroach on public or private properties. I am confident that we will receive the benefits and positive actions of this historic decree soon.”
