The University Moves Forward in QS International Rankings

King Khalid University continues impressive progress in the international ranking of Universities as it moves forward 30 positions to rank 471 in 2018, according to QS, which ranks universities according to international standards.

On this occasion, His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University, Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamyi thanked the wise leadership, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRM King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God preserve them, and the Prince of the Asir, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness Prince Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, and His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa, for their diligent continuous support and guidance.

Al-Solamy also thanked all those who contributed towards the achievement of this outstanding performance of the University. He also commended the University's Vice Presidency for Academic Development and Quality and its affiliated units, which put the development of the overall performance of the University as a top priority by providing all support, follow-up, and guidance. Rector Al-Solamy urged the employees of the University to exert maximal efforts to raise the University and the nation, and achieve Vision 2030.

For his part, Vice-President for Development and Quality, Dr. Marzin Al Shahrani expressed his happiness with this achievement, in the competitive environment at the international, Arab and national levels. He explained that the results of the performance evaluation depend on the overall performance of the University based on careful analysis of its production. He clarified that the achievement is a step of the university plan towards excellence, in conjunction with obtaining the institutional accreditation of the Evaluation Board of Education.
