University participates in a number of workshops and worksheets to promote 2030 Vision

King Khalid University (KKU) is participating in the 7th International Conference on Higher Education, under the title "Saudi Universities and 2030 Vision: Knowledge is the power of the Future" The Conference is sponsored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, and will be held at Al-Riyadh International Center for Conferences and Exhibitions in Riyadh and lasts for 4 days.

The University is going to participate in the exhibition with a special pavilion, in which the university will present a brief overview of the university and its contents, in addition to receiving the most prominent figures of education and arranging partnerships with many bodies. The University is also participating in workshops that are expected to promote 2030 vision.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Jubaili, the University Vice-President for Development and Quality, praised the sponsorship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, stressing that education, in the era of King Salman, has witnessed great prosperity and has achieved distinguished quality leaps such as the inclusion of a number of Saudi universities in international and Arab arrangements. King Khalid University was one of the Saudi Universities that obtained the 515th place at the international level, 21st on the Arab level, and the 4th on the national level.

Al-Jubaili confirmed that the University, during the sessions of the conference, is going to submit two worksheets. The first entitled "The role of Saudi universities in activating the vision of the Kingdom, 2030", which has been presented earlier to the Ministry of Education immediately after the announcement of the vision. The other worksheet entitled "Proposed strategy to link the outputs of universities and the needs of the labor market and industry" Moreover, the University is going to provide a number of working papers, such as: "Governance in Saudi Universities: A Model to Activate 2030 Vision, Investment Trends of King Khalid University in Light of 2030 Vision, and Professional Projects for Women to Achieve Economic Development with Cultural Heritage in the Light of 2030 Vision " The submitted working papers reflect the intellectual and strategic orientation of the university towards activating its role in achieving 2030 vision, especially as it is commensurate with the concepts and fundamentals of quality systems and development which based on reality, strict planning scientific as a methodology for performance and follow-up at the university.

Distinguished participation

For his part, the Chairman of the Scientific Committee which is participating in the Higher Education Exhibition who is also the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences at the University, Dr. Nasser Tyran, stressed the keenness of the organizational and scientific Committees of the University to participate effectively in the seventh edition of the exhibition and the conference and to be different from previous years. He added that the University is going to select scientific papers that go in line with the conference slogan for this year. The University Also is holding seminars in the university's pavilion. He added that the university is participating with five scientific papers presented at the exhibition and with seven panel discussions in the university's pavilion, in which some distinguished guests are invited to enrich the discussion sessions.
