Rector sponsors cross country race with the participation of 350 riders

Under the patronage of King Khalid University (KKU) Rector, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al Solamy, the Deanship of Student Service of KKU has established the annual race "7 km cross country", within the programs and activities of sports Olympiad which is being held this year.

The race took place on Prince Sultan Road (Maiya), with the participation of 350 riders from King Khalid University students, citizens, and residents over the age of 12 years, after the termination of the registration procedure of the race and after the distribution of the T-shirts and numbers.

Student Musa Mansour from Community College in Khamis Mushayt of KKU obtained the first place and the second place was achieved by student Saad Ali from the Faculty of Science. In third place came student Majeed Vaia from the College of Sharia.

From outside the university, rider Karim Aman obtained the first place cup, while rider Spuke Nbios achieved the second place and the third place was awarded to the contestant Hussain Jamaan.

At the end of the race, Rector Al Solamy honored the first ten racers. The total cash prizes for all participants from inside and outside the university reached more than SR 14,000.
