A Symposium on English Language Teaching Difficulties and a Course on Human Rights
The Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship of the King Khalid University has concluded a workshop arranged by the Deanship in coordination with Faculty of Languages and Translation (FLT). The workshop was titled "English Language Teaching Difficulties" and was presented to teachers of the English Language in the Asir region. The workshop was attended by more than 30 male teachers and 25 female teachers.
The symposium was led by FLT Dean, Dr. Abdullah Al Melhi and FLT Vice Dean, Dr. Ali Alamir. Additionally, Dr. Ismail Al Refaai, Prof. Dr. Habib Abdessalem, Dr. Eyhab Abdulrazaq Badr Eddin, and Dr. Salem bin Dawood focused on critical topics in the field. The participants of the workshop thanked the FLT for this initiative and prompted further discussion leading to a recommendation that more successful workshops be conducted. They further asserted that they are looking forward to topics concerning the educational process and the pedagogical implications of teaching in the TEFL/TESOL fields.
In the same context, the Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship, in coordination with the National Association Branch for Human Rights in Asir, arranged a lecture under the title, "Respecting Human Rights is my Responsibility." It took place in the Central Stands building and was presented by the Supervisor of the Association, Dr. Ali bin Essa Al Shoaby.
