More than 100 participants Conference media and terrorism

The total number of participants in the "Media and terrorism: means and strategies" conference, which is being organized by King Khalid University (KKU), has reached more than 100 dignities from within and from outside the Kingdom. The Conference has launched its activities on the last Tuesday and will it last for three days, in the presence of a large number of students of the King Khalid University, media professionals, and those interested parties.

Male and female researchers from the KSA and from around the world have participated in the conference, including more than 20 researchers on issues of terrorism at local, regional and international arenas. These researches came from inside and from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The participants provided worksheets and research about media and terrorism, intellectual extremism, and on the ways to combat it, because terrorism and violence are recently considered a threat and a social problem in the region, as well as in the whole world, a problem that has its negative economic, social, political, and educational risks.

The Scientific Committee of the Second International Conference has completed all of its work, including the adoption of the conference book that contains all the abstracts and biographies of the participants, as well as the adoption of the program of meetings, where the conference includes 19 concurrent sessions. The Committee also has chosen the heads of the sessions who are participating in the conference.
